Second advent

When ‘advent two’ comes

there will be sound

louder than anything heard before

Light will form in heaven

blare and blaze Then, royal silence will last for seconds

before the work begins

and the praise

The New Jerusalem,

Grandiose, strong and far-reaching, will stand

The heroics and domes of gold

The adversary will stay outside Eyes all hollow, empty The darkness, the decay

will give in to the flawless light

Advent number two will redefine physics, chemistry Indeed, all science -

as Man and God are kindly reconciled

The best day of all histories will live

in His whiteness
