Portia pleads

Today is restful

In the folds of a dream, they say

mercy is forgiveness

How entreating!

Portia pleads with the Merchant of Venice

They are voices belonging to the wise

Now, they call

mercy: the swollen lens

How imploring!

The ignition to dried neural networks

Dormant is a word that can’t cope

There is too much fire

The attributes of God

are engaging

Love and compassion are seen in the glares
