Engrams are like galaxies

What a pleasure it is to speak at the following event this evening!

One of the poems that I am reading is new and here it is:

Engrams are like galaxies

Mould a memory string like plasticine

in a shape-changed brain, eager as first light

Go back to imprinted islands of stars

through cosmic dust, and matter of all types

Join up the dots adorning nerve cell webs

then copy and paste, engrams on the rise

Witness the flare-up of understanding

in the form of a thin flame in the void

Trace the heat becoming a flash bushfire

in the mind, cluster, and eye of mankind
