David

A poem for the sweetest Uncle a man can wish for....David sadly passed away this week xx

David

thank you God for David

this gentle man

taught me lots, through actions,

finding time in

life’s toil and rush, building

a blueprint for

how to conduct myself

with poise and class

all this being laced with

on point humour

thanks for the blessings of

his rich music

‘It pays to invest in

a fine fiddle

is one insight I see

and hear inside

the cache of my mind’s eye

the applause crowns

David’s fine works of art

from scroll to block

and viewers feel the sway

of strings on bridge

thank you God for David

this gentle man

finding space to be kind,

with no bad bones

and gracious days of gold

let the angels

sing and listen to him

the tones have no ending
