Fill your heart with photons

First poem added to my blog for a while:

Fill your heart with photons

Pink-brown cheeks,

peach scoops, my

baby chick.

Fruit ciders,

reddened hair,

fill your heart.

You pass through,

white rose, my

doctor girl.

Pure waters,

glowing face,

fill your heart.

Retinas capture our yesterdays. Letting the light in is like clay.

Constant clones,

blood threads, my

better voice.

Seismic seas,

your wind rings,

your Earth speaks.

Brainstems record our present times. Counting the photons makes us sleep.
