Collie linguistics

Sounds of some of my dog’s barks:

(wanting to go out for a wee) huUH HUuh 

(someone is at the door) RUH RUH RUH

(I want to play with that ball) meebmeebmeeb

Silence comes sometimes, but

it’s her herding nature

that makes her talk to me.

She could run all day and

bark about finding sticks.

I am learning her tongue.
