Clock hands rotate at speeds

set in plain, dependable stone.

Morning: Think of structures.

Spin them.

Then, feed forward at midday

like insects feasting on plant roots.

Methods in the madness -

Detritus.

Knowledge settles. Thoughts need food too.

I raid family trees;

the histories and songs.

Deflecting

half-light.

Reflecting movements of charge.
